Topbrass Prestige High Adventure, SH, CGC "Amelia" is by Tiger Maple of Braevue*** OS out of Topbrass Prettyltl Supedup 4wd MH***. After a yearlong, search we returned to Jackie Mertens with Topbrass Retrievers, to purchase our next field trial prospect. Amelia is the first Golden Retriever puppy that Patrick started using the methods outlined The Prestige Way. He describes her as a true delight to live with as a house dog and when he reflected back on her early training it was best described "as a fun and rewarding process." As a puppy, she has shown good marking skills, as well as, a natural return to her handler. Amelia is currently in training with John Gassner and will be running her first hunt tests in the winter of 2017.
We are anxious to see what the future holds for this special girl in whelping box, as well as, in the field. (From John Gassner, Louie’s owner): Louie was our pick puppy (picked by my daughters). He received his first ribbon at 4 months old getting an HRC Started ribbon. He has Derby points including an all-breed win. He received a Qualifying 3rd while still running Derbies. He won a Qualifying stake before the age of three and making him QAA. He also passed 6 straight Master Hunter stakes to become MH before the age of 3. He also has his obedience RN title as well as his CCA. This earned him his versatility title VCX.
He is very easy to train and handle. His tail is always wagging and he has never met a person or dog he doesn't like. He is currently helping raise a litter of pups and is my constant companion, as well as, an outstanding house dog with a true on/off switch.

Litter Theme: The Water Litter
This means that the word "Water" will be in all of the puppies. AKC registered names - an example would be: Prestige Waterfalls. Since both their parents are avid water dogs, we felt it was fitting to look to the WATER for our litter theme, after all “water is the driving force of all nature” and as they start to write their own unique stories we hope they prove to be driving force in whatever their chosen endeavor is. We chose their "puppy call names" after some of the big rivers in the United States.
Please note what we call your puppy for the first 8 weeks has NO bearing whatsoever on your puppy's forever call name - that is you (and your family's) decision. We hope you enjoy the many puppy pictures to come, as well as, our maritime naming creatively behind this most anticipated litter, as much as, we do!
